Project 365: Day 85 “Holi Color”

Holi is a religious spring festival celebrated by Hindus on the last winter’s full moon (February/March.) It’s also known as the Festival of Colors. It is celebrated by throwing highly pigmented powder at each other to celebrate spring.

Sounds like a beautiful sight my eyes need to experience. So I signed up for the Color Run happening in a few weeks and am very much looking forward to it.

But, my sis was on a mission to find Holi powder for her Indian friend so that they could celebrate next weekend. So, we head to Little India in Artesia on a hunt for Holi color and scored! Bags of Holi color for $1.99. Pink, green, purple, red. Can’t wait to see what this looks like!
