The Japanese American National Museum hosted a family free day around the current origami exhibit. There were amazing displays of origami in many different shapes and styles.

Outside in the lobby they had interactive tables set-up to make your own origami. I tried my had at something new to create these beautiful buds. It’s still considered the art of folding paper. But it’s slightly differs with the tracing of a pattern to help with the folding process. I got lost in the focus and felt accomplished after I emerged with such a pretty flower bud.
