Wanderlust: Chicago, IL “30-Mile Bike Ride Chicago-Style”

Three-day weekends means time for flyaway travel. This time destination Chicago, the Windy City. I had never been and this year seemed to be the year of never-been’s. So, why not? Kristan J. lived there so she opened up her home to us. We saw most of what Chicago had to offer. Oprah’s house, Sears Towers, Hancock building, Millenium Park, fireworks at Navy Pier, deep dish pizza, and a 30-mile bike ride on Lake Shore Drive. It was a brief tour but we definitely came, saw and conquered. Veni, vedi, vici. I was pleasantly surprised by Chicago and would definitely go back for round two.
