London: Calling

We made it!!! We’re in London!!! We arrived early this morning but spent a big chunk of our time trying to figure out the Underground. We then finally got to the Globetrotter Inn but couldn’t check-in so we left our backpacks and wandered to Piccadilly Circus. It was sort of chilly so we went into a Gap to find a sweater because we had packed for a hot humid summer. I found a Boots and bought some beauty products here. I love Boots. Then it rained. No, it poured. So, we ventured back to the hostel to take a nap and then went out again. We had tea in Leicester Square, ate dinner in Chinatown, found a bank to get some pounds and met up with Anna’s friend Marvin. The sun sets here after 9pm. So, we feel like the day is never-ending. Tomorrow we’re taking the double decker bus tour (they are going extinct) and seeing the sights around town because we strapped for time. I love the British accent.

Happy 4th of July. Oooh, flying from JFK to London I was able to see all these fireworks display from overhead. It was awesome!!!

On the agenda for tomorrow London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace…

Miss you much!!!
