Death is a reminder for us to look life in the face.

One of my brother’s best friends unexpectedly passed away last night. He was just 23 years old. His friends all said, “See ya later, Andy”, “Talk to you later, Andy” to him that day. Unbeknownst to them, that would be the last time they would ever see him or talk with him again. Possibly, if there is this so called afterlife…then maybe. But, I wouldn’t count on that, especially because that belief makes us live a lazy life while we’re still alive. If all we ever know is that there is this perfect place where we all go and see each other when we die, then why not end it today and go there now. It’s because we don’t really know if it’s really there. But, we are really HERE. We’re here and we’re alive and we should make every minute count. We feel, we experience, we laugh, we cry. A reminder that life is precious, fragile and unpredictable. Please don’t ever take anything for granted. Rest in peace Andy, you will be greatly missed.
